This Vintage Wooden Bar Stool is a wonderful piece of upcycled furniture with lots of character. Sanded back and protected with several coats of top quality hard wearing Osmo oil leaving an environmentally friendly finish. This vintage bar stool would make a great focus piece in a bedroom or kitchen – it has a ‘distressed’ look. Smooth to the touch, this stool has evidence of past woodworm activity (past activity – now gone!) and two of the legs are clearly worn. Many manufacturers now intentionally ‘distress’ furniture and add the woodworm hole effect to make their new furniture appear old; this is the real deal! The focus of all my product restoration is environmentally friendly restoration so no chemicals or strippers are used, waxes leave an environmentally friendly finish and any primers and paints if used are top quality environmentally friendly too.  Where the original handles have been retained I have removed and cleaned them, removing the patina with vinegar and other natural products.
