Product Description:

Say yes to beautiful storage! These beautiful traditional African baskets can be used as indoor planters or for storing all sorts of household bits and bobs: From shoes, to pillows and blankets, remotes and cables, knitting, soft toys – anything that wants a beautiful home.

These storage baskets are woven from sustainable sisal and have a beautiful traditional design on them. They have been woven by hand by a small women’s group in the Kasigau – which is located in an “elephant corridor” that connects the Tsavo West National Park with the Tsavo East National Park.

*As all baskets are handmade, please expect some differences in sizing and patterns.

Medium – 26 x 26cm

Care Instructions:

  • Our baskets are sturdy, strong, and flexible, made to withstand constant use. If properly cared for, your basket will live a long life.

  • Dust your woven basket on a regular basis, wiping with a damp cloth if necessary. No other cleaning should be necessary.

  • Changes in temperature and humidity may cause your basket to expand and contract, which may make securing the lid difficult at times. Be patient and wait for the weather to change or remove from areas with high humidity (like bathrooms).
